Using my phone as a phone has been a game-changer for me. First, I'm more productive. I don't spend hours wasting time on any social media apps including Medium, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Second, I don't compare myself to other people as often (if at all) anymore because I'm not constantly looking/reading other people's highlight reels. This has done wonders for my mental health. Third, I don't get obsessed with analytics since I can't access it on my phone (only on my laptop if I choose to look at it). Looking at analytics used to make me feel really discouraged about my journey. Fourth, I'm more present and appreciative of the moments I spend with the people in my life.
