To expand on this idea, this is also why it's a good idea to journal right before bed. This way, you can unleash all of your anger, worries, stress, {insert emotion you're feeling} onto paper (and out of your head) before you sleep. Because usually, the emotion we fall asleep with, is the emotion we'll experience upon waking up.
