I used to think I needed a degree / certification / experience to start a blog, YouTube channel, or business. So I spent a lot of money on online courses. But, they piled up. And I never completed most of them. But recently, I read something by Dan Koe that shifted my mindset. To paraphrase him, he said to learn WHILE doing. For example, I can take a course on Capcut but if I never execute on the information or experiment with the program, the information will be useless. Instead if I start filming and editing videos, I can Google tutorials on how to do something when I encounter a problem. This way, I retain information much more. Thanks for the great article!
